Veterans Day

On this day we thank those who served in the United States Armed Forces. We do so by throwing parades with military vehicles, High school bands and drum corp teams. We acknowledge veterans and there sacrifice, some Pray for individuals that did not make it but did serve. Other countries like Australia and New Zealand celebrate veterans day on April 25th. Instead of the name veterans day they call it Anzac day which marks the anniversary of the first military action from their army corps in world war I. Hundreds of people flood the streets to watch and celebrate veterans day so as a fun way to get involved you could bake or make your own veterans Day arts n crafts to hold up at the parade. For this delicious red, white and blue treat you will need oreo cookies, white sprinkles, ziplock bag, lollipop sticks, and red, white and blue candy melts. You will start off by putting your cookies on a lollipop stick, after that you will need to place your white candy melts in the refrigerator for thirty seconds. Dip your oreo in the white chocolate carefully, after finishing that step you want to put your red candy melts (after melted for thirty seconds) in a ziplock bag with a tiny hole on the side. Squirt the red candy on the cookie in a zig zag motion to get the effect of red lines on an American flag. Shortly after that melt your blue candy melts and dip half of your cookie in it and quickly sprinkle your white sprinkles on top to get the effect of white stars. Let them completely dry then fill free to share and enjoy. For more information about this recipe visit https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OWWFxCNj3ZU
